I finished season three!!
And, it only took me a few days. I was so excited to know /exactly/ what happens even though I already knew the basic gist of it. I've already seen the last half of the half that is out for season four, so I don't have too much more catching up to do.

Man, I'm so happy I got into this show. It's great.

It's pretty awesome to be watching this. Guys, this is actually like, history. Like our next generation is going to be like taking tests on who the first black president was.

So, I've been catching up on Season 3 and in the past two days watched 302-309.
And let me say, through those episodes (specifically Unfinished Business) I have become hooked on Roslin/Adama. Seriously, they are OTP. OTP I TELL YOU. OTP.

I feel so lame for getting into this show this late.

So, BSG.
I'm only on season three but my friend that introduced me to it REALLY wants me to watch tonight, so pretty much he's explaining the entirety of season three right now. It's pretty ridiculous but I'm attempting to follow it.

New episodes are always so exciting. I couldn't resist.

I'm so lame.

 Well I had my auditions yesterday for All District band. They went pretty poorly xP
I could play the piece perfectly in the practice room (where I had to sit for FIVE HOURS D8)
Just I cannot play anything worth crap if I am in an empty room with two judges. It's sooooo scary. My scales were pretty crappy as well as my sight reading.

But, I find out my results at 3pm today, at most. I'm not going to make it though.


Also, apparently we were supposed to pick up our season ticket holder gifts yesterday for the carolina hurricanes AND WE DIDN'T. Lovely! There goes an autographed stick, an autographed puck, an autographed 8x10 photo, and moar. Great. They better still let us have it.

I found it!
I've been wanting to play Battlestar Sonatica for a while. Since I first heard it really. And now that I have this new piano, I really want to get my hands on it. But yeah, I finally found the sheet music for it (thanks random guy on youtube! <3)
If I ever get good at it, I'll record it. I also need to re-record my Kataang piece though, since that was on my old keyboard that suckededed.

I can't start playing it though until I finish my 10 pages of geometry scrapbook for the day though :(

On a side note, I watched 216 today.

I got my clarinet back!

School started again today. it didn't help that I only had four hours of sleep due to excessive pokemon pearl at 2AM.
BUT HEY.
My Buneary evolved. I'm so excited, because.. Apparently Lopunny can be pretty good.
AND I BEAT CRASHER WAKE. That is HARD when you choose Chimchar as a starter > >;

I also found out that all-district is this saturday. WTF.
My clarinet will be in the shop! ACK! There's no way I'll be getting in with this plastic tube molded into a clarinet apparatus.
Also, I probably will not do well on my band final. Boo.

Um. So today's agenda.
Finish that 30 page honors project for geometry. I mean..start on it. I've been putting it off and it's due thursday.
Watch Battlestar Galactica. I haven't watched in two days and I want to know what happens next o___o

So Shelby was complaining about how I really don't understand this at all. It's also a factor that I really don't know what to talk about. haha. She suggests Battlestar Galactica.

OKAYSO.
It's really good! One of my friends was showing me the music on youtube and it was awesome (Look up Passacaglia, Storming New Caprica, Battlestar Sonatica, Violence and Variation... Any of those are great pieces) and I was just thinking that if a show has such great music it must be worth watching. So I watched the three hour pilot and loved it. It's been about half a month and I'm on episode 216. I would hope to catch up to midseason four so I can watch the new episodes as they air but I highly doubt I'll be able to have a BSG overload anytime soon with all of this homework. Plus, I mean, these are about 45 minute long episodes so at most I could probably only watch about five at a time. Oh well. As long as I get to see it eventually it will be fine.
But yeah, listen to some of the music, at least.

I'm really putting off my homework :\
I have a paper to write, and some stupid geometry "scrapbook" to do. Gahh.

I've had a livejournal for like.. ever. And I decide to make my first post now.

I don't know. I'm bored.

Umm so band is over and I'm sad. The people in pit were pretty awesome.. except for Adam.. but he doesn't count. I'll miss them.
But Sonja and Kelsey and Nathan(?) are doing winter percussion with me which should be fun. The show this year is called Metro Nights and it looks pretty awesome. I'm afraid I'm not good enough though. hah. Hopefully I won't get stuck with the xylophone part.. again. Marimba ftw.

I got a new clarinet on Monday and I got to play it today in band. It's a Buffet R13 and it's amaaazzing. Except weiss made us play the song I am not a fan of ('Twas the Night Before Christmas... complete with narration! wtf?!) all freaking day. The clarinet part in that SUCKS. Hopefully it won't be lame tomorrow.

Okay enough talk about music.
